On 18 Jun 1674 when Mehitable was 22, she married John Lane, son of William Lane & Mary [Lane] (-2 May 1656), in Hingham, MA.33 Born on 3 Feb 1653/4 in Boston, MA. Occupation: Cordwainer.
From Lincoln’s History of the Town of Hingham:33
“In 1694 [John] removed to Norton, Mass., and there took a second wife Sarah, by whom he had several children. From the published history of Norton I learn that he settled near the boundary line between Norton and Attleborough, upon a farm which, in 1859 was owned by George lane, a descendant. He was known in Hingham as ‘John Lane, shoemanker.’ Was a constble 1689.”
Although it has been stated that John’ father was either George or Andrew Lane of Hingham, Ellen Jeanette Lane showed in her article “Parentage of John Lane of Hingham and Norton, Mass.” New Eng. Hist. Gen. Reg. 83 (1929): 466-467, that John was the son of William and Mary (Kelloway) of Boston.

26893. Aaron Hobart. Born ca 1661 in Hingham, MA. Aaron was baptized in Hingham, MA, on 25 Aug 1661.33 Aaron died on 3 Mar 1705.33
Aaron drowned while sailing towards Boston.33
On 27 Jan 1697 Aaron married Rebecca Sumner, daughter of Roger Sumner (8 Aug 1632-3 mar 1704/5) & Mary Josselyn (13 Mar 1632/3-).33 Born on 9 Oct 1671 in Lancaster, MA.

Nathaniel was constable in Hingham 1699 and 1722, and representative in 1721. In his will of 26 Jun 1734, proved 6 Aug foll., gives ‘to wife Mary 1/4 of my corn-mill at the town cove; to son in law John Stowell, 1/8; to my granddaughter in law, Mary Joy, 1/2;” and to Rev. Ebenezer Gay, the remaining eighth of the said mill.33
On 31 May 1695 when Nathaniel was 30, he married Mary Beal (28698) , daughter of John Beal (ca 1627-12 Sep 1694) & Mary Gill (17141) (ca 1643/4-17 Jun 1701), in Boston, MA.33 Born ca 1662 in Hingham, MA. Mary was baptized in Hingham, MA, on 26 Oct 1662.33 Mary died on 6 Jun 1748 in Hingham, MA.33
