27527. Jeremiah Whittemore. Born on 16 Aug 1723 in Concord, MA.¹¹ Jeremiah died in Spencer, MA, on 14 May 1803; he was 79.¹¹

In 1760 Jeremiah purchased 200 acres of land in spencer, and fitted up a large mansion for a tavern.¹¹

On 2 Jun 1748 when Jeremiah was 24, he married Mary Carter (23209) , daughter of Daniel Carter (10962) (10 Aug 1691-16 Mar 1754) & Sarah Center (20 Jul 1695-), in Weston, MA.¹¹ Born on 9 Mar 1725/6 in Weston, MA.¹¹ Mary died in Spencer, MA, on 14 Jul 1802; she was 76.¹¹

On 28 May 1754 when Patience was 24, she married John Flagg (14170) , son of John Flagg (13148) (21 Sep 1700-14 Mar 1733/4) & Hannah Bemis (4955) (3 Dec 1705-).¹¹ Born on 21 Mar 1730/1 in Watertown, MA.¹¹ John died in Weston, MA, on 7 Jan 1809; he was 77.

John and Patience settled in Spencer, where John kept a public house, and in 1767 returned to Waltham, wehre he also kept a public house.¹¹
