dated 15 Jul 1752 and allowed in the court on 2 Sep 1752, names his wife
Judith (whose bequests included "negro maidservant Phillis," who d.
Leominster, MA 4 Sept 1798 at age 62); sons James, William, Kendall, and
Timothy; and daughters Elizabeth, Katherine, and Sarah. Wife Judith and son
William are named executors, and son Kendall was to make payments to sister
Elizabeth Wood and brother Timothy (at age 23) [Worcester County probate file
no. 6366]. Samuel Pool was appointed guardian for Kendall Boutell on 2 Sep
1752 [Worcester County probate file no. 6376]."
On 7 Feb 1719/20 when James was 20, he married Judith Poole (17847) , daughter of Lieut. John Poole (6937) (20 Sep 1665-21 Nov 1721) & Mary Goodwin (5 Mar 1671-13 Jul 1752), in Reading, MA. Born on 28 Jan 1700/1 in Lynn, MA.219 Judith died in Leominster, MA, on 28 May 1791; she was 90.

On 29 Jan 1733/4 when Hannah was 24, she married Rev. Samuel Batchelder (9340) , son of John Batchelder (2626) (23 Feb 1665/6-2 Nov 1732) & Sarah Poore (-17 Apr 1744), in Reading, MA. Born on 11 May 1707 in Reading, MA.14 Samuel died in Royalston, MA, on 19 Mar 1796; he was 88. Education: Harvard 1731.
