27638. John King. Born on 11 Aug 1704 in Marshfield, MA.20 At the age of <1, John was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 1 [or 3] Apr 1705.116 “John, son of John of Marshfield”. John died in Dutchess Co., NY. Occupation: Farmer.

John bought on 16 Dec 1740 the tenth pew in the Marshfield church. He was a farmer and had a share in the division of his father's lands in 1747, and the same year sold his homestead there and removed to Norwich, CT, where he bought a farm of 62 acres with buildings. In 1766 he sold his Norwich property and removed to Dutchess county, NY, where he died.39

On 30 Jan 1730 when John was 25, he married Mary Clift, daughter of William Clift (ca 1666/1668-7 Oct 1722) & Lydia Wills (26 Nov 1676-1 Jul 1761).39 Born on 6 Jul 1714 in Marshfield, MA.20 At the age of 1, Mary was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 21 Aug 1715.116

27639. Rebecca King. Born on 25 Jul 1706 in Marshfield, MA.20 At the age of <1, Rebecca was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 25 Aug 1706.116 “Rebekah, daughter of John and Rebekah”. Buried in Marshfield Hills Cemetery.

On 4 Dec 1727 when Rebecca was 21, she married David Lapham (18447) , son of Samuel Lapham (34003) (12 Apr 1676-Mar 1757) & Hannah Rogers (7234) (ca 1682-4 Jul 1740), in First Parish Church, Scituate.85,116 Born on 3 Apr 1706 in Scituate, MA.116 David died in Marshfield, MA, on 20 Oct 1773; he was 67.170 Buried in Marshfield Hills Cemetery.

On Nov 25 1733 (int) when Joseph was 25, he married Thankful Lapham (18451) , daughter of Samuel Lapham (34003) (12 Apr 1676-Mar 1757) & Hannah Rogers (7234) (ca 1682-4 Jul 1740), in Scituate, MA.116 Born in May 1715 in Scituate, MA.

27641. Benjamin King. Born on 27 Feb 1710 in Marshfield, MA.20 At the age of <1, Benjamin was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 16 Apr 1710.116 Benjamin died in Hingham, MA, on 25 Jan 1785; he was 74.33 Occupation: Currier.

Benjamin was constable 1753. He resided at Hingham Centre.33

On 20 Apr 1734 (int) when Benjamin was 24, he first married Mary Allen in Scituate, MA.116 Born ca 1708. Mary died on 26 Mar 1746 in Hingham, MA.33

Mary, of Braintree. Children of Benjamin and Mary (Allen) King, born at Hingham:
    i. an infant, b. 21 Mar 1734/5, d. in two days;
    ii. an infant, b. 1738, d. 29 Nov 1738; and
    iii. Benjamin King, b. 23 Mar 1745/6.33

Benjamin second married Sarah Fearing (37085) , daughter of Nathaniel Fearing (2 Jan 1679/80-22 Apr 1751) & Sarah Johnson (34188) (7 Feb 1693/4-15 May 1736). Born ca 1716/7. Sarah was baptized on 1 Jun 1729.33 Sarah died on 5 Feb 1784 in Hingham, MA.33

    i. Ruth King, b. 16 Sep 1748, d. 7 Sep 1766;
    ii. Thomas King, b. 10 Mar 1749/50, 22 Nov 1805 at Hingham, m. there Abigal Lane (b. 9 Oct 1764 at Hingham, d. there Sep 1823, dau. of Elisha & Rebecca (Gill) Lane);

27642. Jerusha King. Born in Jun 1711 in Marshfield, MA.20 Jerusha died on 1 Dec 1745 in Hingham, MA.

Children of John and Jerusha (King) Hall, born at Hingham:
    i. John Hall, b. & d. 9 Mar 1736/7;
    ii. John Hall, b. 17 Jul 1739;
    iii. Lydia Hall, b. 29 Jul 1742; and
    iv. Preserved Hall, b. 1 Aug 1745, d. 4 Sep 1745.33

On 27 Apr 1732 Jerusha married John Hall, son of John Hall (28 Jan 1651-1721) & Mary Newell (10 Apr 1661-), in Hingham, MA.33 Born on 27 Mar 1698 in Rehoboth, MA. John died in Braintree, MA, on 27 Sep 1780; he was 82. Occupation: Cooper.

John was Constable at Hingham in 1736. He resided at Hingham Centre.33

John first married Jerusha King, second Sarah Marsh, and third Susanna Boyleston.

27643. Thomas King. Born on 25 Jul 1713 in Marshfield, MA.20 At the age of <1, Thomas was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 23 Aug 1711.116

27644. Anne King. Born ca 1715 in Marshfield, MA. Anne was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 4 Sep 1715.116

On 15 Sep 1740 Anne married Oliver Southworth (20758) , son of Benjamin Southworth (11308) (18 Apr 1681-26 Apr 1759) & Elizabeth Woodworth (8691) (ca 1682-18 Jun 1713), in Hingham, MA.33 Born on 7 Dec 1705 in Little Compton, MA (now RI).224 Oliver died bef 29 May 1759.

Oliver was in Hingham in 1742, and he served in Edward Ward’s company from Hingham in the French War in 1758.

27645. Elisha King. Born on 9 Aug 1717 in Marshfield, MA.20 At the age of <1, Elisha was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 6 Oct 1717.116 Elisha died on 23 Sep 1737; he was 20.39

27646. Elizabeth King. Born on 7 May 1720 in Marshfield, MA.20 At the age of <1, Elizabeth was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 29 Mar 1720.116 Elizabeth died in Hingham, MA, on 8 Nov 1735; she was 15.33
