On 5 Nov 1728 when Ruth was 28, she married James Davis (11008) , son of Col. James Davis (23 May 1662-8 Sep 1749) & Elizabeth Chesley (3421) (say 1666-ca 1749), in Haverhill, MA.¹⁷⁵ Born on 10 Jul 1689 in Durham, NH.⁴¹ James died in Madbury, NH, on 28 Apr 1782; he was 92.

James was of Dover when he married Ruth.
