On 24 Oct 1745 Samuel second married Esther in Rehoboth, MA.

Esther, also called Hester, widow of John Hammond.

    i. Sarah Maxwell, b. 25 Oct 1746, d. young;
    ii. Sarah Maxwell, b. 28 Feb 1748/9;
    iii. Esther Maxwell, b. 12 Nov 1751; and
    iv. John Maxwell, b. 26 Jun 1754.
