30148. Anthony Stetson. Born on 12 Sep 1693 in Scituate, MA.116 Anthony was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, in 1695.116 Anthony died in 1747 in Scituate, MA. Occupation: cordwainer.

Anthony (a great grandson of the Cornet) and Anna lived on ‘the Molly Stetson farm’ on the north side of Buttonwood or Curtis Hill.7

On 28 Mar 1717 when Anthony was 23, he married Anna Smith (14611) , daughter of Joseph Smith (ca 1672/1677-13 Feb 1701/2) & Anna Hatch (5278) (6 Oct 1677-aft 27 Mar 1754), in the Second Church of Scituate.116 Born ca 1696. Anna died on 16 May 1792.7

Widow Anna and widower James Briggs both had property and grown children when their marriage was contemplated, and they entered into a prenuptutal contract which is referred to in James’ will.7

Daniel settled near his brother Zachary on the same side of the way.6

30151. William Stetson. Born on 26 Jun 1700 in Scituate, MA.116 At the age of 4, William was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 5 Nov 1704.116 William died in Scituate, MA, on 6 May 1761; he was 60.

On 21 Nov 1723 when William was 23, he married Hannah Lapham (18445) , daughter of Samuel Lapham (34003) (12 Apr 1676-Mar 1757) & Hannah Rogers (7234) (ca 1682-4 Jul 1740), in Scituate, MA. Born on 1 Apr 1703 in Marshfield, MA. Hannah died in Scituate, MA, on 9 Feb 1778; she was 74.

On 23 Nov 1738 when Robert was 28, he married Hannah Turner in Pembroke, MA. Hannah died in 1802.
