Distribution of the estate of Mrs. Mary Todd, 13 Apr 1798: one-half to Huldah wife of Barnabas Baldwin Jr; one-half to the three daughters of Solomon Phipps, Elizabeth Mary, Joanna, and Lucretia. (Huldah was her grandchild by Ebenezer Alling; Solomon Phipps was widower of her daughter Elizabeth Todd).139
On 1 Nov 1733 when Mary was 21, she first married Ebenezer Alling (7326) , son of Samuel Alling (29 Mar 1669/70-1744) & Sarah Sackett (2041) (26 Dec 1665-), in New Haven, CT.74 Born on 12 Nov 1712 in New Haven, CT.74 Ebenezer died in 1744 in New Haven, CT.30
On 1 Apr 1748 when Mary was 36, she second married Asa Todd (22387) , son of Gershom Todd (10300) (12 Oct 1695-Nov 1748) & Elizabeth Merriman (16627) (2 Jul 1703-bet 1732 and 1735), in New Haven, CT.74 Born on 24 Mar 1723/4 in New Haven, CT.74 Asa died in New Haven, CT, on 5 Jul 1779; he was 55.30 Ada was killed by the British.
Asa was killed by the British during Tryon’s Invasion of New Haven, being pierced with a bayonet, once through the head and twice through the body.139
