On 9 Jul 1744 when James was 29, he married Abigail Thomas (19367) , daughter of Joseph Thomas (7738) (ca 1690-1746) & Dorcas Richardson (17178) (2 Dec 1700-21 Mar 1790), in Congregational Society, Woodbridge.30 Born on 17 Jul 1724 in Wallingford, CT.31 At the age of <1, Abigail was baptized in Congregational Society, Cheshire, on 21 Feb 1724/5.30 Abigail died in Watertown, CT, on 10 Sep 1807; she was 83.30 Buried in Watertown Graveyard.
