On 14 Nov 1757 when Jemima was 21, she married Capt. William Sturtevant (31596) , son of Josiah Sturtevant (27958) (ca 1690-17 Feb 1774) & Hannah Church (21510) (22 Oct 1699-14 Mar 1788), in Halifax, MA. Born on 12 Apr 1726 in Plymouth, MA.²⁶ William died in Carver, MA, on 6 May 1809; he was 83.
