On 13 Nov 1788 when Joshua was 42, he second married Ann Sears, daughter of George Sears (ca 1735-1801) & Abigail Hall (-1821), in Newport, RI. Born on 7 Jan 1769 in Newport, RI. Ann died in Newport, RI, on 30 Mar 1794; she was 25.

On 8 Nov 1767 when Susannah was 19, she married William Fellows (21851) , son of Nathaniel Fellows (9635) (22 Jun 1713-25 Aug 1800) & Hopestill Holdridge (15057) (8 Feb 1719/20-3 Jul 1765), in Stonington, CT. Born on 19 Jan 1743 in Stonington, CT. William died in Stephentown, Rensselaer Co., NY, on 24 Jul 1827; he was 84.

32819. Rev. Daniel Rathbone. Born on 11 Apr 1754 in Stonington Point, New London, CT. Daniel died in Sempronius, Cayuga Co., NY, on 30 Mar 1806; he was 51. Occupation: Baptist Minister. Religion: Baptist.

Rathbone Geneology. From Stonington he moved to Lee, MA where he lived for some time. He moved from there to Rutland, VT where his first wife died. He then moved to Sempronius (now Niles) Cayuga County, NY about 1795. Occupation - Baptist minister.

On 13 Sep 1776 Daniel enlisted in Capt. William Francis’s detachment of the Berkshire Militia and marched to Williamstown from Pittsfield, MA. He was discharged 21 Sep 1776, but enlisted again on 21 Jul 1781 in Capt. William Lord’s Company, Col. John Brown’s Massachusetts Regiment, and discharged 17 Oct 1781.

Daniel first married Lucy Cogswell. Born ca 1757. Lucy died in 1791 in Whiting, VT.

Reuben joined the Shakers and lived some time with them and became one of their elders. Becoming disgusted with them, he left, and wrote a book Reasons for Leaving Them. Signed Reuben Rathbone.

Reuben married Elizabeth Deming.
