Ezra married Amanda the same day his two sisters Sarah and Elizabeth were married. Ezra and Amanda settled in Hartland, CT. It is said he resided later newar his brother Levi in the north part of Connecticut near the Southington line and probably later still at Barkhamstead, CT, where he died. Ezra was mentioned in Oct 1805 as of the Society of Farmingburg in Wolcott, CT, where his assessment toward defraying ministerial charge was 17 cents. He was a surveyor of highways at Cheshire.372

On 7 Apr 1802 when Ezra was 21, he married Amanda Benham, daughter of Uri Benham (15 Dec 1739-21 Apr 1832) & Lois Doolittle (11 Oct 1747-6 Dec 1827), in Congregational Society, Cheshire.30 Born on 1 Jan 1783 in Cheshire, CT. Amanda died on 11 Mar 1865; she was 82.
