On 31 Dec 1747 when Jonathan was 24, he married Hannah Hopkins (33640) , daughter of Benjamin Hopkins (23 May 1701-11 Jun 1787) & Hannah Wilson (25447) (10 Aug 1698-20 Jun 1792).366 Born on 29 Apr 1724.366 Hannah died on 3 Apr 1766; she was 41.366

From Bartlett’s article “Hugh Jones of Salem”:366
    “William^4 Jones, born in Woburn, Aug. 23, 1724, located in Andover, Mass., in 1745, where he lived about ten years, then settled in Amherst, N. H., where he resided for a score of years, and thence removed, about the begging of the Revolution, to Hillsborough, N. H., where he was living as late as 1785. His futher history has not been traced, but he probably ended his days in Windsor, N. H.”

On 25 Mar 1745 when William was 20, he married Rebecca Jenkins (34624) , daughter of Joel Jenkins (27432) (9 Mar 1684/5-) & Mary Chadwick (2 Nov 1685-), in Wilmington, MA.142 Born ca 1728. Rebecca was baptized in Congregational Church, North Reading, in 1728.14 Rebecca died ca 1789.

On 23 Jan 1752 when Martha was 24, she married Nathan Carter (10575) , son of Ebenezer Carter (10963) (24 Sep 1695-1 Mar 1746) & Lydia Butters (3230) (11 Jun 1695-14 Feb 1774), in Wilmington, MA.142 Born on 2 Jun 1728 in Woburn, MA.35 Nathan died in Wilmington, MA, on 21 Jul 1807; he was 79.142

35469. Josiah Jones. Born on 23 Mar 1731 in Wilmington, MA.366 Josiah died in Londonderry, NH, on 16 Aug 1796; he was 65.366

From Bartlett’s article “Hugh Jones of Salem”:366
    “Josiah^4 Jones was born in Wilmington, Mar. 23, 1734, and about 1752 settled on a farm near Foster’s Pond in South Andover, where he resided some twenty years; but on July 18, 1770, he sold most of his property in Andover to Benjamin Marshall of Ipswich (Essex Co. Deeds, vol. cxxviii, fol. 116), and later removed to Londonderry, N. H., where he died Aug. 16 1796. He was on the roll of Capt. John Abbot’s company of Andover militia, Apr. 18 1757. (Mass. Archives, vol. xcv, p. 283.) In his will, dated Apr. 16, probated Aug. 18, 1796, he mentions wife Lovey; sons Josiah and Jesse, who had received their portions; sons Jonathan and Amos to whom was left all real estate; sons Cadwallader Ford and David McGregr; daughters Rebecca, Elizabeth, Lydia and Hannah Jones, and Polly Sheldon. (Rockingham Co. Probate.)”

On 27 Nov 1753 when Josiah was 22, he first married Mary Trefry, daughter of James Trefry (5 Sep 1698-) & Mary Tomson, in Wilmington, MA.366 Born on 17 Sep 1732 in Marblehead, MA. Mary died in 1762.

    i. Josiah Jones, b. 5 Sep 1755, d. 17 Dec 1803 at Londonderry, NH, m. 23 Feb 1779 Sarah Annis (dau. of Ezra & Sarah (Long) Annis of Andover); and
    ii. Jesse Jones, b. 27 Oct 1757.366

On 19 Apr 1764 when Josiah was 33, he second married Rebecca Jenkins (37168) , daughter of Samuel Jenkins (34617) (5 Dec 1709-9 Mar 1787) & Rebecca Stuart (ca 1718-5 Dec 1789), in Andover, MA.366 Born on 5 Jan 1744/5 in Reading, MA.14 Rebecca died in 1787.

On 10 Aug 1786 when Josiah was 55, he third married Lovey [Ronald].366 Born ca 1747. Lovey died on 13 Sep 1822.366
