35945. Rev. Grindall Rawson. Born on 29 Jul 1721 in Dover, NH. Grindall died in Sutton, MA, on 18 Nov 1794; he was 73. Education: B.A. Harvard 1741, M.A. Yale 1753.

Grindall was named after his great uncle, Rev. Grindall Rawson of Mendon.

Grindall was installed as the Congreational minister of Ware, MA, 9 May 1751. He resigned 30 Jan 1754.

Grindall died at the house of Ebenezer Rawson while on a visit to Sutton.

On 25 Jan 1756 when Grindall was 34, he first married Desire Thatcher (34550) , daughter of Joseph Thatcher (27163) (1 Jul 1699-17 Jun 1763) & Ruth Hawes (3 Feb 1709-3 May 1772), in Yarmouth, MA. Born on 5 Jul 1730 in Yarmouth, MA. Desire died in 1816. They were divorced in 1773.

ca 1775 Grindall second married Eunice Clark. They were separated.
