36707. Rachel Turner. Born on 18 Apr 1776 in Scituate, MA.¹¹⁶ Rachel died in South Scituate (Norwell), MA, on 25 May 1866; she was 90. Buried in South Parish Cem. Norwell.

On 11 Jun 1797 when Rachel was 21, she married Capt. James Newton Sparrell (36709) , son of James Nuton Sparrell (-ca 1773) & Ruth Vinal (32976) (23 Apr 1746-aft 1810), in the Second Church of Scituate.¹¹⁶ Born on 7 Apr 1770 in Scituate, MA.¹¹⁶ At the age of 5, James Newton was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 4 Jun 1775.¹¹⁶ James Newton died in 1826.⁶ ¹¹⁶
