On 3 Nov 1835 when Jane was 25, she married Benjamin Franklin Delano (37418) , son of William Delano (35766) (ca 1775-) & Sarah Hartt, in Scituate, MA.116 Born on 17 Sep 1809 in Scituate, MA.116 At the age of 13, Benjamin Franklin was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 6 Oct 1822.116 Benjamin Franklin died in 1882.
Benjamin was educated by the Rev. Samuel Deane, and, displaying a decided talent for shipbuilding, was placed in the drafting office of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where his uncle, Samuel Hartt, was Naval Constructor, and there served his time.7
