On 27 Nov 1772 Susanna married Dr. Josiah Otis (33109) , son of Dr. Isaac Otis (24418) (1 Sep 1719-9 Dec 1787) & Mehitable Bass (37276) (21 Apr 1728-15 Mar 1800), in Bridgewater, MA.223 Born on 30 May 1749 in Bridgewater, MA.223 Josiah died in East Bridgewater, MA, on 25 Mar 1808; he was 58. Occupation: physician.
Josian succeeded his father as a physician in East Bridgewater, where he had an extensive practice. In the Revolution, 1780, he was a Surgeon in Col. John Jacob’s Regiment with service for three months to reinforce the Continental Army.7
