Justus married Asenath Hotchkiss, daughter of Dea. David Hotchkiss (5 Apr 1740-8 May 1826) & Abigail Douglas (-5 Apr 1775). Born on 11 Jul 1764 in Waterbury, CT. Asenath died in Windsor, Broome County, New York, on 10 Dec 1853; she was 89.

Asenath was also called Sarah.
