On 27 Sep 1781 when Lois was 20, she married Abel Palmer (61004) , son of Rev. Christopher Palmer (58381) (10 Oct 1735-4 Nov 1818) & Deborah Brown (51008) (26 Jan 1739/40-9 Aug 1841), in Stonington, CT. Born on 26 Jan 1761 in Stonington, CT. Abel died in Schyler Lake, Exeter County, New York, on 8 Apr 1813; he was 52.
