On 30 Sep 1788 when Elizabeth was 17, she married Gideon Young, son of Johannes Young (13 Jan 1729-1 Aug 1800) & Annatje Diederich (19 Nov 1727-20 Dec 1792). Born on 17 Oct 1765 in Katsbaan, Ulster County, New York. Gideon died in Carlisle, Schoharie County, New York, on 4 Nov 1816; he was 51. Buried in Lawyersville Union Cemetery.
