Ca 1837 George Francis married Betsey Jane Manrow (65710) , daughter of Milo Manrow (61736) (ca 1798-aft 1880) & Mary Titus (ca 1799-21 Oct 1861). Born on 30 Jun 1819 in Throop, Cayuga County, New York. Betsey Jane died in Bronson, Branch County, Michigan, on 9 Oct 1865; she was 46.

Betsey and George were third cousins; they were both descendants of Joseph Manrow and Susanna Olmstead.
