    HARDEN- Arthur E. Harden, Aged 39, of 4235 Milan SW, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning at St. Mary’s Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Marie, and one son, Barnard E., at home; his mother, Mrs. Ida Harden, and six sisters, Mrs. Erwin N. (Donna) Race, Mrs Alfred H. (Carrie) Cook, Mrs. John D. (Hazel) Cahill, Mrs. John H. (Olive) Hildreth, Mrs. Alius (Thurza) Faber, all of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Glenn (Dorothy) Blodgett of Hudsonville: two brothers, Earl and Raymond Soper of Grand Rapids, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1:30, at the Sullivan Funeral Home where Mr. Harden reposes. Interment Wyoming Township cemetery.

Kent County Death Records indicate Arthur died 21 April 1957 of a cerebral hemmorhage (12 hours) at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. There was an autopsy to determine the cause of death. He resided at 4235 Milan SW, Wyoming Township and was a serviceman for Canteen Services. He served in WWII. His father was David L. Harden and his mother Ida Bailey. Marie Harden was the informant. He was buried 24 April 1957 in the Wyoming Township Cemetery from the Sullivan Funeral Home. #71663
