Mrs Hattie Snyder Funeral Thursday
    Mrs Hattie Snyder, 87, died early today at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs Francis Millerd, Carter Rd, Geneva RD 3. She was the widow of the late Miles Snyder. They had lived in Potter.
    Funeral will be held at the Corwin Funeral Home Thursday at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Nettle Valley Cemetery Potter. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday,
 She had been living with her granddaughter here for the past several months. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs Andrew Kipp, Williamson; Mrs Edward Oughterson, Geneva, Geneva Times composing room employe; a son, Frank Snyder, Stanley; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren

 The funeral of Mrs Hattie Snyder. 87, Geneva RD 3, was held Thursday afternoon in the Corwin Funeral Home. The Rev Lullus D Bell, pastor of First Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in Nettle Valley Cemetery, Potter.
 Bearers were Louis Brown, Francis Millerd, Edward Oughterson and Leigh Kipp.

Hattie E. married Miles Aaron Snyder, son of John M. Snyder (ca 1828-) & Phebe (Jun 1829-18 Mar 1903). Born ca 1870 in Yates County, New York. Miles Aaron died in Yates County, New York on 10 Nov 1937. Buried in Nettle Valley Cemetery, Potter.

Penn Yan. Nov 11—Miles Aaron Snyder, 67, died at his home in Friend Wednesday afternoon. He leaves his wife, Hattle E; two daughters, Mrs Andrew Kipp and Mrs Edward Oughtegson, of Geneva; one son, Frank J Snyder, of Geneva; one sister, Mrs Marrell Hammond, Gorham. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon and at Friend M E Church at 2:30 o'clock. Rev Charles Smith of Benton, officiating. Burial in Nettle Valley.
