Frank Burbank died at 5 o'clock this morning at a local hospital after an extended illness. He was born in the city on April 1, 1863, a son of William W. and Sue Burbank and was a retired machinist. His wife, Mrs. Nellie (Donovan) Burbank, died six years ago. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Carrie Coulter of 1000 Fifth avenue, at whose home the body may be viewed; two nieces and his step-mother, Mrs. Jennie Burbank of Harrisburg. Mr. Burbank was of the Lutheran faith. Funeral services will be held at the Coulter home at 2.30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Interment, Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Nellie Burbank, on Saturday, Sept. 15, was struck by a car as she was returning home from visiting at the home of a sister, Mrs. P. F. Rowan of Sixteenth Ave. Her condition when admitted to the hospital was not considered serious but she died this morning of pneumonia.
The accident occurred on the thirty-third anniversary of her marriage to Frank L. Burbank. She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. P. F. Rowan, and a half-brother, John P. Cassidy of New York.
She was born a daughter of James and Annie Donovan, and had resided in Altoona all her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
