Russell was 29, rented his home for $10 a month, a farmer and completed the eighth grade. He worked on his own account and had other sources of income. Alice was his wife and listed as three years old. Obviously an error. Their children were Marvel age seven, Russell J. age three, and Jean age two. Everyone was born in Michgian. The family lived in Newaygo County in 1935.
