Alice A. Filibeck, 85, Bismarck, died August 28, 2006, at a Bismarck care center.  Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church, Bismarck with Rev. Kermit Culver officiating.  Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
       Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at Eastgate Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service at the church.  
       Alice was born on July 24, 1921, in Glen Ullin, ND, the daughter of Charles and Katherine (Miller) Bertsch.  She was raised and educated in Glen Ullin.  Upon graduating from high school, Alice taught rural school in the Glen Ullin and Hebron area.
       Alice married Ernest Filibeck on December 29, 1943, in Denver, CO.  After WWII, Alice and Ernest moved to Bismarck where they made their home.  Alice enjoyed attending sporting activities, going to the Barber Shop shows, camping, and traveling.  She especially enjoyed her trips to Europe and Japan, and her travels with the Good Neighbor Club.  Alice volunteered at the Baptist Care Center and was a member of the Good Neighbor Club.
       Alice is survived by her daughter, Patricia and John Koonts of Centerville, OH; her granddaughter, Jennifer and Greg Hauk and great-grandsons, Ryan and Titus of West Carrollton, OH; her sister, Mabel Jesperson of Bismarck, ND; her sister-in-law, Leona Bertsch of Bismarck, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
       Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie; and her brothers, Raymond, Roy and Bennie. Alice was born July 24, 1921 and died August 28, 2006.
