Bob Zolber passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Royal Plaza Care Center in Lewiston. He was 88.
    Bob was born to L.P. and Nina Zolber on Aug. 6, 1927, on the family farm just east of Craigmont. He spent his younger years working with his dad on the farm near Ferdinand. Immediately following his graduation from Ferdinand High School, Bob enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served on the USS McCracken during World War II.
    Bob married Jeanne Olson in 1946. Jeanne passed away in 2005. The young couple farmed in the Ferdinand area until 1951, when they moved their family to the Reubens area and farmed until retirement in 1989. They spent their retirement years traveling and fishing. They loved attending their grandchildren's sporting events and cheering them on.
Bob married Bonnie Flinn in 2009 and they made their home in Lewiston. They loved to travel and enjoyed all their friends and family who came to visit them at their condo. They were members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
    Bob is survived by his wife, Bonnie of Lewiston; his daughters, Bobbi (Bill) Butler of Golden Valley, Ariz., and Micki (Jerry) Linehan of Clarkston, Peggy (Alan) Smith of Winchester; and son Tony Phillips of Port Angeles, Wash.; grandchildren Rick Wallace, Chris Petterson, Jamey Butler, Dee Ann Wittman, Marla Uto, Jeff Smith, Greg Smith, Danielle Sime, Erin Benton, Adina Eichorst, Brenda Schneider and Darlene Schneider; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeanne; son Larry Zolber; daughter Cathy Minehart; and great-granddaughter Tymarie Smith.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Friday at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens in Lewiston.

Peter Zolber, born in Newaygo, Michigan and Nina R. Goodell, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. L. Peter Zolber was the informant. Patricia was buried in Craigmont, Idaho on 29 January 1937.
