Memorial: Sherry Lynn Cox of North Bend died Wednesday October 2, 2013 due to a long and difficult battle with diabetes. She was 52 years of age.
Sherry was born September 14, 1961 to Leo B. Schirado and Charlene Case at San Bernardino Community hospital. She was raised in the Beaumont/Banning area of southern California and graduated from Beaumont High School in 1979.
She left southern California and came to North Bend in the mid nineties in search of a better place to raise a family. She resided in North Bend until her death.
Sherry was an avid reader, and enjoyed watching movies of all types. She enjoyed walking her dogs Doug and Stellar. She also enjoyed spending time with family and her new granddaughter Brooklyn. Sherry also enjoyed cooking and was an incredible chef. Her holiday meals and Christmas treats will be sorely missed!
She will always be remembered for her kind smile, and her love and support. No matter what she was doing, or where she was at, she always seemed to have a great time as long as she was with family and friends.
She is survived by her brother Eddie Spurlock of Long Beach, CA; sister Dixie Cole of Newport Beach, CA; two sons, Alexander Cox of Kent WA; Chris Schirado (Carrie) of North Bend WA, and granddaughter Brooklyn Schirado.
Services will be held at 1pm, Saturday October 19th, 2013 at Flintofts Funeral Home in Issaquah followed by a short reception for family and friends. Friends are invited to share memories and sign the family’s online guestbook at www.flintofts.com.
Her remains will be interned at Fall City Cemetery in Fall City, WA.
She may be gone, but never forgotten.
