The town of Milton is located west central part of Saratoga County. It is bounded on the northby the town of Greenfield, on the west by the towns of Galway, on the south by the town of Ballston, and on the east by the town of Saratoga Springs. The populatin of Milton in 1865 was 4923, the second most populous town in Saratoga County after the town of Saratoga Springs.
