In 1172 Marguerite first married Henry Plantagenet Duke of Normandy (2745) , son of King Henry II of England (2460) (5 Mar 1133-6 Jul 1189) & Duchess Eleanor of Aquitaine (2270) (1123-1 Apr 1204). Born on 28 Feb 1155 in Bermondsey. Henry died in 1183 in Martel.

Henry, Duke of Normandy, Count of Anjou, was the chosen successor of King Henry II, but predeceased his father.

In 1186 Marguerite second married King Béla III of Hungary (3478) , son of King Géza II of Hungary (3011) (ca 1130-3 May 1162) & Yevfrosinia of Kiev (3683) (ca 1130-ca 1175/6). Born ca 1148. Béla III died on 23 Apr 1196.
