On 2 Sep 1386 Joan first married Duc Jean V de Bretagne, son of Duc Jean IV de Bretagne (1295-16 Sep 1345) & Jeanne of Flanders (-1374), in Saillé-près-Guérande. Born ca Nov 1339. Jean V died on 1 Nov 1399 in Nantes. Buried in Nantes.

On 7 Feb 1403 Joan second married King Henry IV of England (4815) , son of John of Gaunt Duke of Lancaster (4525) (24 Jun 1340-3 Feb 1399) & Blanche of Lancaster (4681) (25 Mar 1343-12 Sep 1369), in Winchester Cathedral. Born on 3 Apr 1367 in Bolingbroke Castle, Lincolnshire. Henry IV died in Westminster Palace, England, on 20 Mar 1412/3; he was 45. Buried in Canterbury Cathedral.

Henry IV, King of England (1399-1413). He succeeded his cousin Richard II to the throne.
