Albert A. Pomeroy’s 1912 History and Genealogy of the Pomeroy Family117 carries the Pomeroy’s lineage several generations. In 1914 Elizabeth French demonstrated that the photographic reproduction of a manuscript pedigree had been fraudently altered, see NEHGR 68:47-56 and 70:55. The ancestry of Richard Pomeroy remains unknown.16
