John Thomas was an original proprietor of the New Haven colony. He was admitted freeman in 1669.
John’s will, dated 4 Jan 1670, mentions his wife Tabitha, daughters Elizabeth and Tabitha, daughter Sarah Wilmot's children (unamed), sons Daniel, John, Samuel and Joseph. Witnesses: William Peck and Roger Alling. The inventory was taken 19 Jan 1672 by Roger Alling and John Cooper and totaled 176£, 6s, 6d. (Early New Haven Probate Records," NEHGR Vol 81, pg. 132)
