On 22 Oct 1663 David first married Mehitabel Gunn, daughter of Thomas Gunn (-26 Feb 1680/1), in Hartford, CT.14 Born on 28 Jul 1644 in Windsor, CT.173 Mehitabel died on 30 Jan 1720; she was 75. They were divorced in Oct 1682.

Mehitable first married David Ensign. That marriage ended in divorce. She married second Isaac Sheldon as his second wife.
