Robert Smith, Sen., born in the north part of Ireland, 1672, and died Dec. 21, 1750. His father came from England in 1658. His son Robert was married in 1691 and had four children — James, Patrick, Margaret, and one that married a Mr. Parkhill. Margaret married William McMitchell. Patrick married twice and died childless.
