Jan and Catharina Van Texel are 52nd and 53rd on the member list of the Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church.157

He was a Deacon 1716/7, and ordained an Elder 20 Aug 1727. At the time of his marriage to Cathaina, they were both living in the Highlands, upon the lands of Steven Van Cortlandt.410
