On 10 Dec 1701 when John was 21, he married Ruth Robie, daughter of John Robie & Anne Corliss, in Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Born on 14 Oct 1678 in Haverhill, MA. Ruth died in Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 15 Apr 1753; she was 74.
