Hannah never married. Her will, dated 10 Jul 1732 and proved 4 Oct 1735 gave her property to her borther Matthias and to her brother Samuel’s daughter.409
17043. Thomas Hitchcock. Born ca 1674 in New Haven, CT.409 Thomas was baptized in First Congregational Society, New Haven, on 8 Jul 1688.55 Thomas died bef May 1732.

Thomas had no descendants. An inventory of his estate was taken 6 May 1732, his brothers John and Joseph being adminiatrators. The estate was divided into six equal parts, Matthias, John, Joseph, and Hannah receiveing one part each, and two parts going to the legal representatives of his brother Samuel and his sister Sarah Robinson.409
17044. Matthias Hitchcock. Born 7 Mar 1677/8 in New Haven, CT.409 Matthias was baptized in First Congregational Society, New Haven, on 8 Jul 1688.55 Matthias died in East Haven, CT ca 6 Sep 1736.409

Matthias was ‘afflicted with a failing sickness’ and never married.409
17045. Samuel Hitchcock. Born 7 Mar 1677/8 in New Haven, CT.56 Samuel was baptized in Congregational Society, East Haven, on 8 Jul 1688.55 Samuel died in East Haven, CT in 1732.409
On 13 May 1715 Samuel married Mehitable Warner (12756) , daughter of Isaac Warner (4350) (ca 1643-ca 1691) & Sarah Boltwood (9 Nov 1649-14 Jul 1726), in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.409 Born on 1 Oct 1683 in Hadley, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. Mehitable died in East Haven, CT, on 8 Dec 1760; she was 77.55

“John bought land in Colchester, CT, and settled there before his marriage. He was the collector of town rates in colchester for the years 1713, 1714 and 1724. He must have returned to East Haven about 1735, where his daughter Hannah died, and then returned to Colchester, where he died May 22, 1754. Letters of administration were granted to Eliakim Hitchcock, June 18, 1754, upon the estate of Mr. John Hitchcock of Colchester, deceased; estate valued at £687-7-10. By his will he gave ‘his widow, her third of the house, the north front room, south front chamber part of the the linter, with a privilege in ye cellar, her third in land and money.’”409
On 13 Feb 1707 when John was 23, he married Elizabeth Jones, daughter of Thomas Jones (8 Apr 1655-1738) & Elizabeth Graves (6 Dec 1662-16 Sep 1752), in Colchester, CT.55 Born on 2 Oct 1685 in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.409 Elizabeth died in Colchester, CT, on 2 Jan 1769; she was 83.409

17048. Joseph Hitchcock. Born on 23 Jul 1686 in East Haven, CT.56 At the age of 1, Joseph was baptized in First Congregational Society, New Haven, on 8 Jul 1688.55 Joseph died in Norwalk, CT in 1758.55 Occupation: blacksmith.

Joseph purchased land in Norwalk as early as 1710 and continued to acquire property there until his death. His children (it is not clear from the Hitchcock genealogy which wife is the mother):
    i. Joseph;
    ii. John b. 1725 in Norwalk;
    iii. Samuel, b. Sep 1726 in Norwalk; and
    iv. Sarah, m. Mr Banks.409
Joseph first married Rebecca. Rebecca died in 1750.409 Buried in St Paul’s Churchyard, Norwalk.409
