March Ye Seventeenth A.D., 1761 being in Health & of Perfect Mind & memory Thanks be given to God therefor and calling to mind ye mortality of my Body knowing that it is appointed unto all Men once to die and after that ye Judgement do make and Ordain this my Last Will and Testament"
"And First I recommend my Soul into the Hands of God that gave it & my Body to the Earth to be Buried in a decent & Christian burial at ye discretion of my Executor nothing doubting but at General Resurrection I Shall Receive the Same again through" the Mighty Power of God

Item: I give to my Son William Brown four Acres of Land with a Dwelling House on the Same during his Natural Life which is the Remainder Part of the Land that I Bought of James Palmer Joining on the South side at Collings Browns land & after my Son Williams decease ye Same is to go to Collings Browne his Heirs & Assignees forever.
Item: I give to my Son Jesse Brown Twenty pounds Lawful Money Two years after my decease to be for his Portion forever.
Item: I give to my Sons Samuel Brown & Fish Brown all ye Remainder of my Lands to be their portion with a Good Tittle to dispose of ye Same Said Fish Brown & Said Samuel Brown maintaining his Aunt Thankful During her Life. This said Thankful being the Own Natural Mother of Said Fish Brown -
Item: I give to Benoni Brown my Son a Grist Mill and Ten pounds Lawful Money at ye End of one year after my decease for his Portion.
Item: I give to my Daughter Deborah Gest Thirty Shillings Lawful Money for her Portion to be paid her in two years after my decease.
Item: I give to my three Daughters Dorothy Palmer & Hannah Breed & Lois Palmer Thirty Shillings Each Lawful Money to be paid Two year after my decease for their portions.
Item: I Give to my Wifes Sister Thankful & her Daughter Tabytha all household Goods Equally to be divided between them. And the Rest of my movables I put Into ye hands of my Executors to pay the Debts with.
