On 25 Jul 1723 when Nathaniel was 39, he married Phebe Towne (31153) , daughter of Jacob Towne (13 Feb 1659/60-1 Oct 1741) & Phebe Smith (19277) (26 Aug 1661-14 Jan 1739/40), in Lynn, MA.231 Born on 23 Jul 1685 in Topsfield, MA.

Child of Nathaniel and Phebe (Towne) Newhall:
      i. Phebe Newhall, b. 1724, d. 13 Feb 1814, m. as his 2nd wife 4 Jan 1749/50 John Lindsey (b. 29 Jan 1719, son of Ralph & Mary (Breed) Lindsey).231

22151. Samuel Newhall. Born on 7 Sep 1686 in Lynn, MA.232 Occupation: joiner.

It is not entirely clear that the three wives of Samuel Newhall are correct. His children, probably by his wife Mary, were not recorded in the Lynn vital records:
      i. Elizabeth, m. at Salem 31 Oct 1765 Stephen Cooke;
      ii. Dorothy (or Dolly), b. ca 1748, d. before Feb 1787, m. at Salem 15 Mar 1768 James Bott (James m. 2nd 11 Feb 1787 Ruth Hathorne, widow of James Hathorne); and
      iii. Mary, m. at Salem 29 Nov 1764 Jonathan Glover.231

On 20 Sep 1730 (int.) when Samuel was 44, he first married Easter Newhall in Lynn, MA.232

On 1 Apr 1736 when Samuel was 49, he second married Dorothy Chamberlain in Lynn, MA.232

On 27 Apr 1740 (int.) when Samuel was 53, he third married Mary Hutchinson in Lynn, MA.232

22152. Elizabeth Newhall. Born on 2 Oct 1688 in Lynn, MA.232 Elizabeth died in Lynn, MA, on 1 Oct 1692; she was 3.232

22153. Jonathan Newhall. Born on 4 May 1691 in Lynn, MA.232

22154. Elizabeth Newhall. Born on 16 Oct 1694 in Lynn, MA.232

Elizabeth married Isaac Stone, son of Joseph Stone (ca 1670-17 Jan 1703) & Sarah Waite (26 Oct 1672-). Born ca 1695 in Lexington, MA. Isaac died on 27 Mar 1786 in Woburn, MA.
