On 1 Dec 1735 when Joseph was 25, he first married Susannah Cook (24601) , daughter of Samuel Cook (9505) (3 Mar 1667/8-18 Sep 1725) & Hannah Ives (10362) (ca 1672-29 May 1715), in Wallingford, CT.90 Born on 8 Sep 1711 in Wallingford, CT.90 Susannah died in Wallingford, CT, on 5 Oct 1761; she was 50.90
