Ca 1734 John married Elizabeth Richmond.

The Lebanon vital records250 mention that John Wadsworth’ wife was Elizabth Richmond or Richman, but don’t mention any marriage date or location.

It’s not clear who Elizabeth’s father was. Some say he was Edward Richmond of Taunton. If so, then she would have had to marry a Mr Hatheway between 20 Jun 1737 when her son John was born and 3 Jun 1738, the date of Edward’s will, in which he mentions his daughter Elizabeth Hatheway. (There was an Elizabeth Richmond who married Benjamin Hatheway in 1736 in Dartmouth, but that appears to be Elizabeth, daughter of Benjamin and Mary Richmond, b. 16 Apr 1718 in Little Compton.)

22 Mar 1731/2 Martha married Oliver Brewster (23544) , son of William Brewster (10162) (4 May 1683-26 Dec 1768) & Hopestill Wadsworth (8909) (ca 1688-25 Mar 1773). Born on 16 Jul 1708 in Duxbury, MA.192 Oliver died in Barnardstown, Franklin County, Massachusetts aft 19 Oct 1776.
