    Thomas was a farmer, and lived in the house his father bought for him of Col. Byfield. That house was set off as a part of his share in the division of his father’s estate ; he also had 19 acres of land west of Spice Brook; 13 acres bounded by the east of his brother Joshua’s land; 4 acres at Stop River, next north of Wrentham line; two pieces of meadow, &c. The division of his father’s estate was not made until 1703, which was the period at which his youngest son Samuel [this Thomas’s brother] reached the age of 21 years. Thomas was dead before the documents relating to the division were signed; his widow was present, and his son Thomas signed them. After his decease his widow [Mary] married a Mr. Jennery about 1709; until that time the children had probably been under her care; her son Thomas then took charge of their property.
Thomas married Mary.

Mary first married Thomas Clap, second Benjamin Chenery.

    Joshua lived in that part of Dedham incorporated as the town of Walpole in 1724, .... He was a farmer, and of his father’s estate he had one half the field near the river, bounded north by the land of his brother Thomas; two lots of cedar swamp meadow; six acres of land next to James Fales’s; twelve acres of land north of Neponset River, some of it on the river; and two cow-rights.
On 22 Dec 1697 Joshua first married Mary Boyden, daughter of Capt. Jonathan Boyden (20 Feb 1652-30 May 1732) & Mary Clark (12 Mar 164[8/]9-ca 1698). Born on 13 Apr 1677 in Medfield, MA.270 Mary died in Dedham, MA, on 18 May 1718; she was 41.

    Eliezer married and lived in Walpole. The old homestead fell to him, also thirty-one acres of land about it; one-fourth of the meadow at Cedar Swamp, one acre at Stop River, nine acres at Major’s Plain, one-fourth of Cedar Swamp and medow and one cow-right. At his decease, Eleazer Robins, of Stoughton, who married his niece Mary, administered on his estate.

25435. Hannah Clap. Born 28 Mar 167[8/]9 in Dedham, MA.190 Hannah, the Daughter of Thomas and Mary Clap, borne 28:1:79. Hannah died in Walpole, MA on 10 May 1761.
On 7 Jan 1703 Hannah married William Robbins, son of William Robbins (ca 1651-18 Aug 1725) & Priscilla Gowing (-5 Mar 1743/4). Born ca 1682 in Reading, MA. William died in Walpole, MA on 7 Jan 1770.
25436. Samuel Clap. Born on 21 Aug 1682 in Dedham, MA.190 Samuell, Son of Thomas & Mary Clapp, was borne 21:6:82. Samuel died in Norton, MA, on 13 Jun 1762; he was 79.559 Buried in Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.

Three daughters of Samuel married, in some order, a Mr Dean of Brookfield, a Mr Field of Mansfield, and a Mr Padelford of Taunton.310
