25521. Daniel Howe. Born on 24 Feb 1690 in Sudbury, MA.359 Daniel died in Putney, Windham County, Vermont ca 1756. Occupation: Carpenter.

    Daniel; carpenter; he led an eventful life; his father game him part of the homestead at Lanham, which he sold to his borther Elisah; was of Brookfield 1715; Sudbury 1716–21; Rutland 1722–25; 29 Mar 1726 he bought of Isaac Gleason 16 acres with house and barn in Framingham, and opened a tavern; it stood about 45 rods southeasterly of teh old Charles Clark house on the “Old Connecticut Path”. He sold out to his son-in-law Samuel Gleason after 1736, and removed to Westmoreland, N.H., of which he was a grantee, and where he suffered the hardships of a frontier settlement in the Indian wars. He died at the for in Great Meadow (Putney, Vt.) about 1756, and was buried in Westmoreland.
On 17 Dec 1716 when Daniel was 26, he married Elizabeth Johnson.359

25522. Nehemiah Howe. Born ca 1693 in Sudbury, MA.359 Nehemiah died in Canada on 25 May 1747.359 Occupation: Clothier.

    Nehemiah; clothier; took the estate of his father at Lanham, and paid off the heirs; sold 1717 to Joseph Seaver, and removed to Framingham; was a petitioner for Grafton 1727, bult in Grafton that year; and originial member of teh church in Grafton 1731; bought 18 Jun 1739 a township right in Westomreland, N.H., wither he removed; on the greaking out of the Indian war 1744, he went across the river to the fort at Great Meadow (Putney, Vt.), where he was taken captive by the Indians 11 Oct 1745, and carried to Canada, where he died 15 May 1747. He wrote a journal of his captivity, which was published.
Nehemiah married Margaret Willard. Margaret died on 25 Jan 1758.359
