26372. Capt. Daniel Bradley. Born on 5 Aug 1706 in New Haven, CT.56 Daniel died in New Haven, CT, on 9 Feb 1773; he was 66.56 Buried in Old Graveyard, Mount Carmel, Hamden.

Daniel was commissioned Lieut. of the 8th company in New Haven, May 1749; and Capt. of the same May 1754. His name headed the petition to the General Assembly in 1757 which resulted in the establishment of Mount Carmel Parish. He was a leading citizen of the village, often employed in the public service, and a Deacon in the church.6
2 Feb 1726/7 Daniel married Abigail Punchard (18841) , daughter of William Punchard (11 Nov 1677-16 Dec 1748) & Hannah Brown (6783) (-1710s), in New Haven, CT.56 Born on 20 Jul 1708 in New Haven, CT.56 At the age of 16, Abigail was baptized in First Congregational Society, New Haven, on 6 Jun 1725.55 Abigail died in New Haven, CT, on 26 Oct 1774; she was 66.55 Buried in Old Graveyard, Mount Carmel, Hamden.
