Jonathan was a selectman several years. He lived on the place in “Woodend,” later known as the Jonas Parker place, owned by Charles Tweed in 1874.118
Ca 1734 Jonathan first married Mary Damon (33732) , daughter of Joseph Damon (26532) (28 Sep 1686-1777) & Mary Batchelder (15973) (19 Nov 1688-22 Oct 1754). Born on 5 May 1711 in Reading, MA.81 At the age of 4, Mary was baptized in First Congregational Church of Reading (now Wakefield), on 23 Oct 1715.498 Mary died in Reading, MA, on 14 Dec 1786; she was 75.81
