Sarah died in Truro, MA 11 Feb 1718/9.437 Sarah the wife of Jonathan Paine dyed in Truroe the eleventh day of February 1718/19. Buried in Old North Cemetery, Truro.489

On 29 Jun 1719 when Jonathan was 33, he second married Mary Purington in Truro, MA.437 Jonathan Paine and Mary Purinton both of Truroe were married at Truroe June ye 29th: 1719 by Mr. John Avery ordained minister in sd Truroe. Born ca 1681. Mary died in Truro, MA on 17 May 1760.489 Mrs. Mary Paine Relict widow of Mr. Jonathan Paine dyed in Truroe May 17th 1760 in the 79th year of her age.

On 24 Jun 1724 when Barnabas was 18, he married Mary Purington, daughter of Dea. Hezekiah Purington (ca 1674-8 Jan 1717/8) & Mary Scammon (ca 1682-17 May 1760), in Truro, MA. Born on 20 Oct 1706 in Truro, MA.437 Mary the daughter of Hezekiah and Mary Purrington was born in Truroe October 20: 1706. Mary died in Truro, MA, on 22 Dec 1768; she was 62.
