On 18 May 1749 when Comfort was 18, she married Capt. Samuel Mower (58730) , son of Samuel Mower (26 Sep 1689-8 May 1760) & Elizabeth Sprague (47573) (11 Oct 1691-), in Oxford, MA. Born on 18 Oct 1720 in Malden, MA. Samuel died in Worcester, MA, on 24 Jan 1784; he was 63.

Samuel first married Comfort Learned; second Sarah (Trask) Leech, widow of Samuel Leech; and third Esther (Kittredge) Locke, widow of Josiah Locke.
