Children of Zattu and Bethiah (Thomas) Cushing, born at Rochester:
i. Olive Cushing, b. 26 Jan 1766; and
ii. Zattu Cushing, b. 5 Sep 1768, d. 28 Nov 1847 at Rochester, m. at Abington 12 Jul 1790 Rosamund Studley (b. 9 Jun 1768 at Hanover, MA, dau. of Gideon & Rosamund (Church) Studley).
On 13 Oct 1763 when Bethiah was 35, she married Zattu Cushing (25433) , son of Ignatius Cushing (12735) (22 Sep 1689-2 Feb 1767) & Ruth Croade (27198) (8 May 1699-bef 1767), in Marshfield, MA.49 Born ca 1735 in Plympton, MA. Zattu died in 1768 in Duxbury beach. drowned.
Previous to his marriage Zattu lived in Meduncook ME and in a ‘List of Persons in Captivity’ Zattu is mentioned as ‘taken at Meduncook, 11 Sep 1758. He removed later to Rochester MA.49
31481. Mercy Thomas. Born on 28 Feb 1743 in Marshall, TX. Mercy died on 3 Aug 1835; she was 92.
On 23 Apr 1764 when Mercy was 21, she married Benjamin Tolman (24857) , son of William Tolman (11942) (12 Jan 1716-ca 1749) & Abigail Williamson (27383) (31 Aug 1711-), in Marshfield, MA.121 Born ca 1742 in Scituate, MA. Benjamin died on 22 Jun 1824 in Pembroke, MA.
