In a deed dated 1754 Obadiah is called of Wilmington, but was living at Groton in 1756, when he joined with the other heirs of his father in the sale of land at Chelsea. On the day of the Battle of Lexington he turned out with four of his sons, in Capt. Farwell’s Company of Col. Prescott’s Regiment.576
